mcgillvray designs is the creation of Portland, Maine based designer Matt McGillvray. Matt has his Associate’s in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Graphic Design from Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, New York. He is also currently working on his Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from Maine College of Art, in Portland, where he is currently located, with his wife.

Matt is excited about design that is fun; fun to look at and fun to interact with. In addition, he loves music, and this is where his true inspiration comes from. Music related design is a big part of his work. He has worked with Maine Academy of Modern Music, as a board member, and as a designer. Also, he has worked at a music venue, Port City Music Hall, making posters, banners, and learning the ins and outs of booking, and publicizing.
